Temple of Pallas

This temple’s seals held Varus for centuries. Their breaking brought his imprisonment to an end.

A prison hidden in a sacred place

The official map identifies Pallas as the temple where the darkin Varus was imprisoned for centuries. Its seals have since been broken. The site therefore links Ionian sacred geography to a much older history of fallen Ascended and the weapons that confine them.

Why this place matters

A sanctuary can preserve something dangerous as well as something revered. Varus’s biography supplies the personal story beyond this map entry, while the Ascended dossier explains the wider darkin connection. The illustration here is Ionian context, not a verified reconstruction of the temple.
