A port with its own traditions
Nashramae connects northern Shurima to maritime commerce. Riot’s atlas highlights its silk, a replica Sun Disc and a festival associated with Rammus. These details distinguish the port from the imperial capital: shared symbols do not mean every city has the same institutions or sacred history.
Why this place matters
Nasus’s biography recalls a much darker episode, the destruction of its library during imperial conquest. The contrast between commerce, celebration and historical violence makes Nashramae a useful counterpoint to idealised accounts of Shurima’s former glory.
