Ixtal / Cities & ports
Ixaocan
Ixtal’s hidden capital is built around elemental knowledge passed down through generations.
Inside the story · 2 MIN
Elemental knowledge · Arcologies · Isolation
A city organised around knowledge
Ixaocan’s arcologies combine habitation and the study of elemental magic. The cardinal arcology houses the ruling Yun Tal, while the wider network supports specialised disciplines. The rainforest conceals a highly organised civilisation, not an isolated ruin waiting to be discovered.
Why this place matters
Qiyana’s ambition, Milio’s journey and Skarner’s vigilance illuminate different routes into the city’s power structure. Together they ask who may master knowledge, who may govern and whether preserving a society requires keeping the outside world away.
